Dana White Responds To Backlash Over Bud Light-UFC Deal: “Nobody Tells Me What To Say”

It’s no secret that fight fans on the conservative side of politics have taken a liking to the UFC, but their feathers were ruffled recently when the promotion announced it would be partnering with Bud Light once again.

While a situation like this would typically mean nothing more for fans other than a nostalgia trip, political views continue to make their way to sports and just about anything else enjoyable.

Those on an anti-woke crusade criticized the UFC for relinking with Bud Light, as those people are still upset with Anheuser-Busch for the company’s “wokeness.” The self-proclaimed boycotters truly became enraged when transgender TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney partnered with Bud Light for an ad campaign.

UFC CEO Dana White fired back at the small outrage when speaking to media members recently.

“Everybody talks about, ‘Oh, you did it for money,’ hey, dummies, all sponsorship deals are about money,” White said. “So, when you talk about being a sellout, I had multiple deals in front of me. It’s not like, ‘Oh, Bud Light showed up and they were the only option I had to make money. You know how fstu pld that is to think that?”
