Susan Boyle Performs Iconic Les Miserables Song, Giving Audience And Judges Goosebumps

Susan Boyle, a Scottish singer and international superstar, not only returns to Americaโ€™s Got Talent, but also to the song that launched her career, in her latest performance.

Susan takes the stage after receiving her Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell for her rendition of the Rolling Stonesโ€™ โ€œWild Horsesโ€ in this sneak peek from Americaโ€™s Got Talent: The Champions. In the videoโ€™s introduction, the 47-year-old singer says, โ€œIโ€™ve loved to sing since I was a tiny tot.โ€ Music has helped her get through some difficult times in her life. But it wasnโ€™t until her mother died that Susna decided to pursue her dream, which her mother had always encouraged her to do.

โ€œEverybody has dreams, you have to follow those dreams. I feel Iโ€™ve been given that chance,โ€ she says. And she certainly has, selling over 20 million records. And it all began with this song โ€“ โ€œI Dreamed a Dreamโ€ from Les Miserables. Sheโ€™s got a beautiful sequin dress on and an eerie backdrop โ€“ instrumentalists shrouded in fog and silver light with trees in the background.

The judges and audience are on their feet when she finishes her performance.

Mel B tells her that if she had another Golden Buzzer, she would press it for Susan again. And Simon says he has โ€œgoosebumps on his goosebumpsโ€ and goes on to explain how her performance brings him back, admitting he wasnโ€™t so nice to her on the first day but that sheโ€™s gone on to be the epitome of a champion.

Listen to her โ€œencoreโ€ of the song that made her famous in the clip below.
