A student teacher was reprimanded by her school’s principal after wearing a white dress to work. Although the student teacher, 21-year-old Alison Mutarelli from Delaware, felt that her dress was appropriate, the school principal felt that the young student teacher looked too sexy in the all-white getup. Now, Mutarelli is turning to TikTok to get the opinion of people online on whether or not her outfit was too scandalous for school.
In a shocking revelation, the student teacher showed off her outfit, which included an above-the-knee white dress with a long black cardigan. After getting reprimanded by the school principal, the student teacher felt “embarrassed” and wanted to hide from the other people at the school.
The student teacher’s clip has since gone viral because so many people are shocked that the school principal called her outfit “too sexy” for the schoolhouse.
“I got dress coded at school today. I was student teaching and both my partner, and I were wearing dresses and the principal told us to dress for the jobs that we want,” Mutarelli said. “So now I’m extremely embarrassed and I don’t know what to wear to student teaching anymore.”
In another series of viral moments online, Mutarelli shared a number of outfits she has worn at work at the school that is not too revealing. One dress had a floral design that was “nice and long but it is tight,” Mutarelli said.
She added, “I don’t know if this would be ok or not but I think it’s super cute… I don’t think I can wear it.”She also put on a flowing gingham green dress with puff sleeves, according to Daily Mail. However, she does not know if the outfit is acceptable or not because it is shorter than knee length.
“I don’t know if that seemed inappropriate or not and I am literally just so stressed.”
Mutarelli turned to TikTok because she wanted help from people online. She was eager to know what she could wear that the school principal would not punish her for.
