Jennifer Aniston knows just how much of her personal life she should reveal to the American public in order to stay one step ahead of the tabloid coyotes. However, the 54-year-old actress, who recently celebrated her birthday, decided to share a throwback picture from her childhood in which the star was posing with her late parents.
“Thinking about these two humans that created me as I bask in the afterglow of a beautiful birthday. Thank you ALL for my beautiful birthday wishes,” Aniston captioned the Instagram post. “I felt sooooo much love from so many, and ALL of it is going to carry me through this wild and beautifully unknown year ahead. I love you!
Other celebrities jumped at the chance to reminisce about the good old times with Jennifer Aniston and posted their reactions to her childhood photos in the comments. Kate Hudson simply added a heart emoji while comedian Chelsea Handler wrote, “Happy Birthday, you beautiful tush!!! I’m glad you are surrounded by such love.”
Other fans poured on their love for Aniston, especially considering she remembered the days of her childhood while being raised by a pair of great parents.
“Happy birthday Jen. You get more beautiful each year that passes,” one fan commented. “Happy happy happy birthday to an amazing woman,” another wrote. “I hope this and every day is filled with smiles.”Anniston is not shy when it comes to talking about her biological parents. Back in 2021, she shared a tip her mother provided to her about aging, and she wanted to pass on the wisdom to as many Americans as possible.
“My mother was always so healthy and beautifully fit when I was a kid. I’ve always had that as my foundation,” she told Vogue.
Jennifer Aniston’s mother insisted that living a good life “is about longevity.” She wanted her daughter to be healthy enough to live to her senior years and get as much out of life as possible.
“It’s just sort of been a theme in my life: to enjoy the age I am and not look at aging as a negative, but as the privilege that it is,” she said in the Vogue interview. “We all age!”
Aniston has been talking a lot about getting older ever since she reached the milestone birthday of fifty. That was four years ago. At the time, she sat down with The New York Times and talked about her experience with ageism.
“It’s so weird. There’s so much doom around that number,” she said in an interview with The New York Times. “I’m entering into what I feel is one of the most creatively fulfilling periods of my life … Seriously, I’ve been doing this for 30 years, and I feel like it’s just about to really bloom.”
Aniston is sick of hearing that she looks good for her age.
“I think we need to establish some etiquette around that dialogue and verbiage” when complimenting older women.
