During the conversation, Whoopi expressed her concerns about the division in the United States, emphasizing that it affects people from various backgrounds. Then, out of the blue, she turned to Alyssa and asked, “Are you pregnant?”
Alyssa, clearly surprised, responded with a firm “No” and expressed her discomfort, particularly because her mother-in-law had been eagerly anticipating news of her pregnancy. She asked Whoopi if she appeared pregnant, to which Whoopi replied, “Yes!” before realizing the inappropriateness of her comment and beginning to apologize.
Sunny Hostin chimed in, suggesting they place bets on Alyssa’s potential pregnancy. Alyssa clarified that while she and her husband were considering it, she had not yet been blessed with a pregnancy.
