Keith Urban Sings Cover Of Bee Gees’ “To Love Somebody” And Brings Tears To Barry Gibb’s Eyes

Keith Urban, the popular country singer from New Zealand, blew everyone’s mind when he performed his version of the song “To Love Somebody” as a tribute to the Bee Gees on the stage of CBS’ “Stayin’ Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Music of the Bee Gees” show. You may have missed the show, but the video is here and you’ll want to see it.

Before he began his tribute to the band, Keith Urban shared with his audience that the Bee Gees had always been a huge inspiration to him. He revealed that he actually lived rather close to the Gibb brothers and that made him feel like he had an extra, special connection to them. He said that growing up, they lived about 100 miles apart and that it made his dreams seem closer.

A lot of other artists that were in attendance also performed tribute songs to the Bee Gees. These artists include Ed Sheeran, Celine Dion, Demi Lovato, Thomas Rhett, Andra Day, and Kelsea Ballerini. But among these many talented artists, Keith Urban certainly stole the show when he performed on that stage.
