If you are asking to let little kids decide their own gender, you are the problem!

Thereโ€™s a growing trend today where some are pushing for young children to have the autonomy to decide their own gender identity, but this idea raises serious concerns. If weโ€™re truly concerned about the well-being of children, allowing them to make such important, life-changing decisions at an age where they are still developing emotionally, mentally, and physically is simply irresponsible.

Children, especially at younger ages, donโ€™t yet have the capacity to fully understand the complexities of gender, and giving them this responsibility can lead to confusion, harm, and lifelong consequences. A childโ€™s sense of identity is still evolving, and allowing them to decide something as permanent as their gender without the guidance of adults, medical professionals, and educators who have years of experience is reckless.

Itโ€™s important to recognize the difference between supporting children in their natural exploration of identity and pushing them to make a decision that they may not fully comprehend. We should be guiding kids through their growth, helping them understand who they are in a safe, nurturing environment that doesn’t rush them into choices that might not be right for them in the long run.

The push to let children make these life-altering decisions is not only misguided but dangerous. Parents, caregivers, and educators need to step up and protect kids from being caught in a trend that could have serious consequences. Our responsibility is to ensure that children are given the tools, education, and support to grow up in a way that is thoughtful, informed, and in their best interestโ€”not dictated by ideology.
