Whoopi Goldberg admits she’s ‘in trouble’ on The View after calls for her to be fired

Sunny Hostin said: “Our executive producer did tell us that if he goes missing, it’s probably someone from the table.”

“It’s probably Joy [Behar],” Alyssa Farah Griffin quipped.

Ana Navarro added: “If Brian goes missing it’s on purpose. He doesn’t want to be found,” before Sunny joked: “If we do it, you’re not going to find out.

“Whoopi caused an outcry last year after saying “the HoIocaust isn’t about race” and is instead “about how people treat each other”.

She added: “It doesn’t matter if you’re black or white, Jews… everybody eats each other.”

The presenter was suspended from The View for two weeks following her comments and has now hinted that her future on the ABC show is in danger.

On Monday’s episode, panellists were joking about what would happen if the show’s producer Brian Teta was to go missing.

Just last month, Whoopi seemed to repeat her claims about the HoIocaust.

In an interview with The Times of London, the actress said: “My best friend said, ‘Not for nothing is there no box on the census for the Jewish race. So that leads me to believe that we’re probably not a race’.”

She has since apologised, saying she was trying to “convey to the reporter what I had said and why,” referring to her earlier controversial comments.

Whoopi added: “It was never my intention to appear as if I was doubling down on hurtful comments.”
