NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘The View’ host Whoopi Goldberg, alongside co-hosts Sara Haines and Ana Navarro, called out Ivanka Trump for her “insulting” and “tone deaf” attempt to postpone her testimony in her father Donald Trump’s $250 million fraud trial.
Ivanka reportedly claimed that taking the stand on her father’s trial next week would cause her “undue hardship” due to “childcare issues,” as per the Daily Mail.The mother-of-three allegedly argued that her court attendance would be difficult as the testimony is scheduled in the middle of a school week. However, on Thursday, November 2, a New York judge rejected Ivanka’s request to avoid appearing at the testimony.
Goldberg weighed in on the situation during the latest episode of ‘The View’ and sarcastically retold Ivanka’s move to avoid testifying on the trial.

Speaking about the judge refusing Ivanka Trump’s request, Whoopi Goldberg began, “A judge did not buy Ivanka’s claim that she couldn’t come to New York because of ‘child care issues.’ The judge was, ‘I don’t think that’s going to fly, babe’.”
“Ivanka gets no sympathy from me – and most American women and men who have to balance all sorts of duties,” stated Ana Navarro, adding, “Girl, I fly back and forth between Miami and New York at least twice a week and I don’t have a private jet or $2 billion from the Saudis. I think you can do it for one day.”
She also mentioned, “There’s women who show up to court pregnant, there’s people who have to show up and balance work duties. She’s got the means.”
“She was at Kim Kardashian’s birthday a couple weeks ago. She traveled all over the world when she was at the White House and the children were even smaller,” added Navarro, subsequently inquiring, “Also, don’t these children have a father that can take care of them on a school day?”
