John Travolta Heats Things Up Showing Off Classic Grease Dance

Even if you donโ€™t consider yourself a big movie person, you will have seen โ€œGreaseโ€ at least once in your life.
The iconic 1978 movie was based on the 1971 musical with the same title, and stars actors and actresses who went on to make it big in Hollywood.

One of these actors is John Travolta. After โ€œGreaseโ€, he went on to land roles in โ€œPulp Fictionโ€, โ€œSheโ€™s So Lovelyโ€, โ€œHairsprayโ€, Disneyโ€™s โ€œBoltโ€, and many more, but heโ€™s still known in many peopleโ€™s eyes as cheeky boy Danny Zuko.

The โ€œGreaseโ€ hype lives on today, and the movie is even considered the second most successful film ever.

Itโ€™s unsurprising, then, that on โ€œGreaseโ€โ€˜s 4oth anniversary, there was huge excitement for the 40th-anniversary celebration in 2018.

We may be biased, but we canโ€™t help noticing that four decades on, John Travolta still looks as good as he did as a young man.
And heโ€™s still got the moves, too, as he proved in an interview with Jimmy Fallon.

Travolta appeared on The Tonight Show to discuss the movieโ€™s anniversary โ€“ and he had a surprise in store for the audience. While it was only brief, this is a performance you donโ€™t want to miss! The interview starts like any old interview, and Jimmy expresses his disbelief that heโ€™s interviewing the John Travolta from โ€œGreaseโ€ โ€“ proof that even celebs get star-struck!
The pair discuss the success of the movie, with Jimmy commenting that even his 12-year-old nieces are familiar with the movieโ€™s catchy musical hits.

Travolta had the whole package because he could sing and dance exceptionally well, as Jimmy explains.

Jimmy attempts to explain a move that Travolta does at the end of the movie, with his partner, Olivia Newton-John.

The dance is known as the four corners, and Travolta recalled:
โ€œI grew up with all these kind of novelty dances. So, in Grease, they needed a step for that โ€˜Youโ€™re the One That I Wantโ€™ at the end. So I said, โ€˜Well, we used to do the four corners. Why donโ€™t we do that?โ€™โ€
